This 6-day Tanzania safari takes you deep into the wilderness by experiencing the most incredible parks on the northern circuit of Tanzania. You will visit parks like, Lake Manyara national park famous for its birds, baboons, elephants and monkeys, Tarangire National Park famous for its giant baobab trees as well as large African elephants. You'll also visit Ngorongoro Crater which is a World Heritage Site, as well as “the endless plains” of the Serengeti. You will stay at luxury lodges or hotels. 

This trip is an exclusive private safari so you can enjoy your trip to the fullest! You can decide for yourself when to leave in the morning and when to return in the evening. You can also observe a specific animal or herd for as long as you like during the safari. You don’t have to be considerate of anyone. Your personal guide will advise you during the safari so that your trip will be an unforgettable experience. 

Day 1: Arrival

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport-JRO, you will be met by your personal driver-guide or representative who'll drive you to your accommodation. You'll spend the night in Arusha waiting for your adventure to start on the following day.

Day 2: Arusha to Serengeti national park 

Pick up from you hotel in Arusha and transfer to Arusha airport for your flight to Seronera airstrip in Serengeti and our guide will be there to pick you up and then continue with game drive and have a picnic lunch, later evening you will be heading to your camp for dinner and overnight. 

Flight departs at 0930hrs in Arusha and arrive 1115hrs in Seronera, Serengeti.

Day 3: Hot air balloon and game drive in Serengeti 

Today you continue with your safari in the Serengeti national park. Its stunning landscape can be seen in some of the most impressive nature documentaries, the endless plains and abundance of wildlife are unsurpassed. 

For hot air Balloon safari you will be picked up from the camp at 5:00am for 6:00am departures. After your aerial adventure, bush breakfast, you will continue with a short game drive with a picnic lunch and later evening you will be back in your camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater 

After breakfast you will drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On this route there will be a high chance of seeing a lot of wildlife. After arriving at the crater rim you will descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor. The views are amazing! This collapsed volcano creates a unique ecosystem with a wide variety of vegetation. Enjoy the beautiful colors of the landscapes and the diversity of animals. The crater is home to the highest concentration wildlife in Africa and is full of elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos and even the rare black rhino. This is one of the best places to spot all of the Big Five. The views from the crater rim over the crater floor are incredible. Because of its natural beauty the Ngorongoro Crater is chosen as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders.

After having picnic lunch within crater you will ascend from crater and drive to Maasai village, on arrival to this magnificent village, you will be greeted in traditional manner: plenty of singing and dancing (participation is very much encouraged and appreciated). You will have a chance to learn few traditional practices, also a chance to meet and talk to villagers (local guide will translate to you). During your visit, there is also an opportunity to purchase handmade leather and beadwork from the villagers. 

Later evening you will drive to your accommodation in Karatu town for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Karatu to Lake Manyara national park 

After breakfast you will drive to Lake Manyara national park for a game-viewing drive with a picnic lunch. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of African animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants and Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions. You'll also see large troops of baboons, flocks of flamingos, attracted by the algae in the lake. You will have lunch at a picnic site and afterwards, further game viewing. Later, you'll leave for Mto wa Mbu town where you will spend your night.

Day 6: Mto wa Mbu to Tarangire national park / Arusha 

After breakfast at your accommodation in Mto wa Mbu, depart for Tarangire National Park. It is Tanzania's third-largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs and up to six thousand elephants. You'll enjoy game drives with a picnic lunch. After lunch and an extensive game drive inside the park, we will drive straight to your accommodation for dinner and your overnight stay in Arusha.
